Interesting to see what Polar has to offer 🙂
Don’t seem to be that popular here (in the running community) in South Africa but their products look great.

Looking at the new watches. I’ve heard there is no bluetooth music mode, have you guys heard this might be coming in later firmware updates?

I’m a Garmin guy, have a Fenix 5s, I’m not here to compare, the only thing I like about polar watches is they emphasize that sportive spirit when they are used daily, while my Garmin is simply mistaken with Samsung watches. Subjective opinion not everybody’s cup of tea though

No, GTN, No.
I totally respect your need to make money, with ads & promotions being a part of it. But this video crosses the line. “Includes Paid Promotion” tag at the start doesn’t cover you.
Please don’t give up your editorial integrity in order to land some short-term revenue. This was a bad, bad, bad choice on your part, and we’ll forgive you this once. But never again, or you risk losing loyal viewers which will not allow you to sell further ads in future.

People still fail to see why Polar rule the pro fitness watches. It’s because of real time tracking. Other watches will let you look at what your heart rate is, this is all well and good. Polar have zones for optimal health, with live constant hr measurements, if you’re pushing too hard it’ll give you a warning, if you’re not pushing enough it’ll show that too. Other trackers and smart watches are for looking at the stats after you’ve worked out. Polar are for real-time information that keep you exercising at optimal levels throughout the workout. This is a much bigger deal than most people realise.

If you want a smart watch for physical health and fitness you only ever buy a Polar. If you want a smart watch to talk to, with a pretty screen and chat on FB or whatever, you buy anything else.

Juz watched this video, and reading the comments…juz don’t understand what the fuss is all abt.. GTN has been very upfront with their sponsors and this video was meant to show the types of watches to suit the different profiles of ppl..naturally, it has to use the watches from their sponsors as an example… So if you ppl prefer to use or comfortable with other brands, go ahead..just know what suits you… Keep it up, GTN! Yr vids have been great and informative .

When you are talking about the vantage v you are showing the vantage m

Just really confused by GTN showcasing the Vantage M & V, but calling both the V?
